What is Notellect?

How is this different from an AI chat tool?

Is a Work just a task or a workflow?
No. A task usually tracks an assignment, while a workflow defines a sequence. A Work holds the complete business object: inputs, prior state, methods, Actions, owners, decisions, review, deliverables, and history.
What are Actions and Skills?
Actions are executable capabilities such as extracting, reconciling, calculating, checking, or drafting. Skills preserve a team's reusable method and instructions. Multiple Actions and Skills can participate in one Work, alongside people.
Why does Work live inside a Folder?
The Folder is the scope boundary. It keeps the relevant files, people, permissions, Actions, and history together and reduces the risk of mixing context across unrelated clients, funds, or projects.
Does Notellect replace human judgment?
No. AI can execute repeatable Actions and prepare review-ready outputs. People remain responsible for exceptions, material judgments, approvals, and deciding what becomes the baseline for the next cycle.
What is the best first use case?
